Hemmerle 125th Anniversary
To celebrate their 125th anniversary, Munich-based luxury jeweler Hemmerle treated their most faithful clientele to a multi-sensory dinner as refined and extraordinary as their beloved jewels. The evening at the Metropolitan Museum of Art not only honored over a century of exquisite craftsmanship, but also debuted their Egyptian-inspired anniversary collection.
With only one hour to set up for cocktails in the lobby of the MET, we created a smart and impactful moment on the grand staircase that grounded the evening’s celebration - a shimmering “125” made from thousands of candles individually placed with just minutes to spare!
Chosen for its conceptual connection to the collection, for dinner, the Museum’s Temple of Dendur came alive with an ever-changing kaleidoscope of custom-created video, blanketing the gallery walls with poetic images of the new collection that dissolved into a lyrical, visual history of Hemmerle’s artistic triumphs. At each place setting, a hand-folded, paper pyramid housed a commemorative surprise looking to an innovative future: A Hemmerle-made brass fly pendant - the symbol of achievement.
